I guessed at which "Utena skin," but seems to effect anything with a volume bmp that cuts off mid-slider height (though it doesn't hurt skins that cut off the slider entirely). I wouldn't expect anyone to have to manually fix their skins for this...

While I do like the game, there's a lot like this; compared to Hollow Knight, Silksong feels kinda mean-spirited toward the player.

For Classic skins, simplest is with Skinamp or SkinnerToo; you put in an image and they allow some customization of UI elements. Google for download.

Similar thoughts on the PDS thing. Sure, you *could* host your own data, but it comes with a price tag, hassle, and possibly legal implications that will deter most social media users. I'm a developer and I don't even want to bother with it.

Ahh, yup, there it is. I replied on reddit with the chm file if that helps, and that the transparency is determined by the top/left pixel of the background image.

Oh, it's just a manual swap; @aurenscarlet.bsky.social if you want this version (with the EQ covered), you'd need to open the skin (change .wsz -> .zip, then extract to a folder), and change "asp.txt" to something else, and "asp2.txt" to "asp.txt" 👍

Parts of the spec were readable for me, and I can post of what I learned, though I'd like to take a look at this skin - the EQ overlay area isn't immediately working on my copies (2.x or 5.3), and I'm curious about that...

Yup, the plugin didn't work for me in WACUP when I tried it there, but this skin works in Winamp 5.3 for me (the grey boxes are an unrelated plugin), if you wanna grab that version (it can be installed alongside other versions).
