THURSDAY (12/11) UPDATE🗣️

US 12 at milepost 115 remains closed due to flooding, as does SR 131, east of Morton in Lewis County. A detour is available around the closure. Use caution and expect delays while traveling near the area.

These are the only remaining closures in SW WA.

🟢US 12 MP 109 and MP 124 are now OPEN.
🔴US 12 MP 115 is CLOSED (with detours).
🔴SR 131 at MP 2 is CLOSED.

🟡WB MP 124 is closed; traffic is alternating through the EB lane.

🔴MP 115 is CLOSED with detours available. Expect delays.

🚧HEADS UP US 12 TRAVELERS

US 12 in Morton (Lewis Co.) remains CLOSED at MP 109 near Stiltner Creek due to water and debris over the roadway, and a new closure is in place at MP 124 near Bennet Rd.

Crews are working to clear debris and monitor water levels. Avoid the area.

Attention I-5 Travelers near Lewis County

I-5 NB off ramp to Exit 77 near Main Street in Lewis County is closed due to water over the roadway.

Please avoid the area, use an alternate exit, and expect delays.

In Klickitat Co., strong winds ripped siding off a salt shed at US 97 near Satus Pass.

Crews will assess the structure and make repairs. No road closures in the area, but please use caution if you’re traveling through.

SR 4 near MP 17 (Pacific Co.) remains CLOSED with approx. 2 feet of water over the roadway. Please avoid the area and remember: never drive through standing water.

All lanes on SB I-5 near SR 502 are now OPEN.

Big thanks to our Incident Response Team for helping move the vehicles involved in the collision to the shoulder. Expect delays as traffic gets moving again.

SB I-5 at MP 11.8 near SR 502 in Clark Co. is fully blocked due to a collision. The exit ramp from SR 502 to SB I-5 is also closed.

There’s no ETA for reopening. Backups are under a mile at this time. Avoid the area and use a different route.

SR 6 at MP 50 near Donahoe Rd (Chehalis) is FULLY BLOCKED due to a collision. Avoid the area and use a different route if you can. Law enforcement is on scene, and this will likely be an extended closure.

A collision at MP 88 near Grand Mound is blocking a lane. Traffic is moving slowly through the left two lanes, and backups are stretching a few miles near the Lewis Co. line. Expect delays.

Shoutout to our maintenance crews who spent their post-Thanksgiving days clearing debris from a recent rockslide on NB I-5 north of Woodland🪨

About 30 yards of material and several trees were removed to keep drivers safe. Huge thanks to crews for getting it done—rain or shine.

US 12 WB Travelers 🚨

Both lanes blocked on US 12 WB MP 68 near Mary's Corner due to collision.

Please use alternative routes and avoid the area if possible. Traffic is being detoured to Avery Road, follow Avery Road to Jackson and out to US 12.

UPDATE: both directions of SR 433 Lewis & Clark Bridge are BLOCKED due to a collision near MP 0.0 at Oregon Way/SR 432. Traffic is backed up—avoid the area if possible & expect long delays!

Early this morning, we had an un-a-peel-ing situation when a semi hauling apples overturned on SB on US 97, at MP 5 just north of Maryhill Loop.

Crews are working to unload the cargo before tow recovery can happen. Don’t be a bad apple—slow down, follow flaggers & expect delays.
