Megatron is distracted by the all spark the first time they fight, but the second? Yeah he’s pinning Optimus to the road outside of Sumdac tower and fucking the obedience virus directly into his forge.

However, it’s been so long since the Autobots have had direct dealings with Decepticons that they haven’t been keeping up with how the obedience virus mutated.

As Optimus learns the hard way when he and his crew become the first Autobots in millions of years to encounter decepticons

(The Autobots, to make sure that the rules get enforced, install a version of the code in Ultra Magnus so he can keep the primes in line, of course. He’s the one hoping the line, it’s very important that his subordinates don’t question him.)

They call the firewall, which has to be maintained with very rigid behavior, the Autobot Code, and as long as Autobots keep to the behavior outlined very closely they’re resistant to the con virus, even being able to withstand direct transmission to a point.

But plenty of cons still will pin down and fuck an uppity Autobot into submission to get their way, and there’s no recourse. Autobots eventually make a firewall to hold off the programming, and kick the decepticons off planet so they can finally be free of slavery.

But then the war is over! And they have to try and rebuild society. Some Autobots try to remind th scientists that the coding is supposed to be deleted, but no one seems interested in researching that anymore (the code means Bots can’t delete it themselves). And sure, bots aren’t in harems anymore

So now, every time they capture an autobot, they fuck them stupid, and their transfluid rewrites the slave coding to acknowledge the Decepticon is their new owner.

Soon the most powerful Decepticon warriors all have harems of beautiful, loyal Autobots who are obsessed with their spikes

The Bots keep escaping to go back. So eventually some Con scientists invent a virus to hack the slave coding. It’s meant to be a temporary measure, just until they drive away the quints, then they can delete the slave programming… because the best way to distribute the virus is transfluid. 😈

Eventually, someone (maybe renegade Autobots, maybe Primus, maybe the all spark, whatever) invents Decepticons to rebel against the Quints and rescue the Autobots. They don’t have the slave code, so they can fight better. They rescue lots of Autobots but because of the slave coding…
