The Real Thing is a really interesting record I think. A really transitional point in Faith No More’s career. You can see how some songs may have originally been written with Chuck Mosley in mind while others would have been impossible without Mike Patton’s range.

Heavy Metal bands in the early 90s LOVED Urotsukidōji. Not only did White Zombie have samples from it on multiple tracks of La Sexorcist, Testament named one of the songs from Low after it.

It's funny that Zeitgeist is not on any streaming platform because Billy Corgan is apparently still sore about it not receiving the reaction he'd hoped for in 2007. Like dude that's nearly 20 years ago at this point!

The guy from Pentagram is basically what Ozzy Osbourne would have been if he hadn’t had Tony Iommi and later his wife to rein him in. It’s a real shame because you listen to First Daze Here and that is some really excellent early 70s hard rock.
