yes its cheaper to print black and white but for green yuri, i think its funnier for 2 reasons: 1) it started as a digital publication (specifically on twit), so digital isnt limited to physical limitations, and 2) the author decided to do the green very last minute (as she said in interview), so

the cost. that being said, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT PANTONE THEY USED!!!! OR IF THEY EVEN PRINTED IN THE WEST AT ALL!!!!! printing in china is obviously cheaper, but east asia has printing tech thats way beyond what we have in the us. im so curious to how dedicated they were to keep the green, since

as you all know, neon green is notoriously hard to replicate in print, as it falls out of cmyk's range of colors. you are able to get more colors if you print with a spot color, including neons, but it is more expensive. tho i suppose with green yuri, they are printing bull anyway so that justifies
