It's that Soporific Hum (he/him) again... TTRPGs, wargames, tech stuff, progress
Making some next-thing new kickstarter assets. Does this look legible (both, text-wise and image-wise)?

Apparently Scott "The Miniature Maniac" has some good taste in RPGs, @rrookstudio.bsky.social, @epidiah.bsky.social ?

We are makin' proofs. It has been an adventure. It should not take a year to make a zine, but sometimes, it does.

Anybody got one of these kicking around?

And some of my favourite TTRPG design challenges of the last few years were about the barter rules that went into ANNA-X66:

Am I wrong in assuming that these new followers aren't interested in hearing about TTRPGs?

I'm putting the playsheets together for "Perfect Momentum". It's just starting to look like a game, rather than a series of text files.

This shows off the exploration aspects in the middle, and the combat "dashboard" at the bottom.

These components are in service of doing diceless boss battles.

In 2023, Scablands Press will be bringing all zine production "in-house"!

This means:

(1) Less waste! Recycling and low-power pledges can be directly implemented. We print only the needed number of copies.

(2) Faster proofing! Revisions in minutes, not days/weeks! (ctd.)

Perfect Momentum, my boss-fight TTRPG, has gone through several interesting phases. At this point, I think the core is almost there. It feels like making a series of smart choices.

So, now it's a card game, I guess.
