Yeah I waited similar for chronic illness which is why I was wondering about it for this - was thinking if the wait was that long, everyone would be getting frozen shoulder. But hey ho, I finally get to go to Selby Abbey today hahah

If you are eligible for the mobility component of PIP, you can spend *your own money* topping that up to have a great accessible car. Critics should ask: Why are you against this? What it is about disabled people that makes you believe it’s wrong to have nice things they paid for themselves?

In basketball news they *can* appreciate, I complained literally once today about having to shoot one handed (can't get my left arm above my head still) and my coach heard + made sure to cheer really loudly every single time I scored after that, which made me feel very lucky 🥲

Normally people jump away from the triride because they're spooked by the motor noise behind them (fair) so I'm very confused by today's apparent zombie hoard! I don't get it either, obviously I need both my hands so can't but the world is very interesting when you actually look at it

All these people were actually quite lucky I have quick reflexes because my braking distance is not great in the rain, and a triride to the shins sounds quite painful

Well you would think that but you aren't glued to your phone for a start

Is there something in the air today? I had about 5 people almost walk into my Triride (with the light on!) within about half a mile earlier

It won't let me post if I put alt text on pictures (??) so ID: two yellow chicane fences, designed to slow down cyclists, at the bottom of a smooth downhill slope. The handlebars of a wheelchair front assist are visible at the bottom
