Something sensational to read on the train
Isn't that image on the left from the Daily Mail, because calling the Mail "feminist media" is laughable

Yes, and everyone around UKRI who worked on different parts of what was needed - IUK's role in supporting the manufacturing side for example. I'm still livid about the way any attempt to associate (any of) our brand(s) with it was squashed.

UPDATE: The supermajority has officially been broken: bsky.app/profile/asht...
NEW: Mississippi Democrats broke the Republican Party's supermajority in the state Senate tonight for the first time since 2011.

It came as Democrats flipped 2 Senate seats and 1 House seat.

“Mississippi just broke the supermajority—and the people have taken back their power,” the party says.

It shouldn't be important, but sadly I think it currently is relevant in a UK where, if he'd committed a crime instead of being a hero, his citizenship status would have been the very first thing stated in the headline.

Wait, the guy in the big house with lots of candy who's refusing to give the trick or treaters more than one tiny piece each - he's meant to be the good guy? I will never understand right wingers
