Fundamentally, cheating is an impossible race. Cheaters will always have the advantage, because anti-cheat devs are on the backfoot. They are reactive, while cheaters are proactive. The game itself never changes that. The only factors that change are game popularity and the benefits of cheating.

Tarkov is a game with a low ttk, and a high amount of personal player impact for dying. The same can be said Rust and Counter-Strike. When you cook those things together, it makes people more sensitive to when someone else is cheating, and the problem *looks* worse than in other games.

Yes, some games will have it worse than others. This is almost universally due to the amount of players actually playing the game, and not to do with the game itself. The more popular a game is, the more it will attract cheaters, and Tarkov was very very popular for a time.

I can literally promise you that tarkov was not uniquely worse than other games. It was just especially loud how bad it was because the size of the cheating problem was shown plainly to people in a video. The awareness of the problem was higher than other games, not the actual cheating itself
