A really important negative side effect of particularist Holocaust education that doesn't get talked about nearly enough is that if you teach about one set of historical atrocities and no others, a lot of people are going to have only one historical reference.

My impression is that getting through the Minnesota winter as a city, together, teaches people to run towards danger. Also, Pretti was an ICU nurse. Running towards urgent situations was his life's work.

You know why people believe that right? Because Hasan gives Kaya commands in Turkish and the people making those accusations don't speak Turkish. Listen closely and you'll notice that Hasan has taught Kaya commands in English since then.
