Yeah, markets are supposed to punish bad actors, not because they're bad, but because their products suck and you can steal customers from them easily. Now the point seems to be to get to scale as quickly as possible. Success=great, failure=tax write-off, also great.

Yes, there are a lot of perverse incentives due to a lot of lobbying on tech's behalf. I also think, post 9/11, we've allowed a lot of intrusion in the name of 'safety' for a one off event that was the equivalent of hitting mega millions and Powerball in the same week.

Putting 200k people who understand the mechanisms of how the government works, in the unemployment line was not a good idea for this administration. I expect we will see many more enter all levels of government.

13th, 14th, 15th amendments are going to look minor compared to the re-writing we need to do. Also, day one, hour one, lots of people are going to jail and will remain there as flight risks. No Jan 6th and people get to walk away waiting for a Special Counsel.

Why has it taken so long to get a straight story in this? First it was one shot, then two shot (one killed), then both killed (Gov Morrissey statement), then both critical condition, then both dead this morning (Shawn Harris post), now one has died.
