We have butted heads on many occasion to where you might think i hate you or im anti union. I’m neither of those things. And agree with the point of if there was a better union id support it right away. Cause workers deserve there right. Just right now asking to support a flawed one is a hard sale.

I just had to actually look at a few pages to understand wtf salting even is. Which only means a worker goes to a Job with the intent to organize a union. Atleast is the simple description i got. Which i say is fine. As long as its a non union or fi core worker doing it

actually more to point to show i’ve been following this for a bit, i do actually remember reading something ages before this went bad that sag and hoyo have had private talks or something to that effect for a while.

I can agree to that. I do have to say however that posting something like that during the middle of when the internet was already heated, especially with the winky face, was not likely the way to do it, regardless if it was interpreted correctly or not.

that’s not the point, i concede they were and didn’t make that clear that i was in my last post apologies, im just saying considering in hindsight how that and many other posts has just lead to more problems for them, keeping things private seems to me to have been the better option

That them coming public to push talks can possibly be mis interpreted as them becoming involved in matters they have no juristiction over. Now rereading this myself

Becuase they cant directly. But actors can. And from what Joe said this strike was in response to the bigger ongoing UNION strike. So it happened to strike while in a way in the Union couldnt. And if a union member got caught breaking the rule on this strike. It would hurt the greater strike.

The second comment is true, it should be enforced and im happy its being enforced more now.
The problem to me is. Its only being enforced in response to the strike. Meaning once this strike is over does that mean the rule will continue to be enforced in the same way?

By making the consequences worse? make examples of people so people know hey you arent fucking around anymore and you need to actually listen to the rule? because if making an example or Erika or anyone else who breaks the rules is ok now. It should have been way before this.

Again i can argue all day but my point still stands
If nothing else. Bringing a extremely flawed system like GR1 in without trying to fix its issues BEFORE going on strike was a misstep.

Yes to both sides. As it possible its not as threatening as she making it. Or its equally likely it is and theres something your side is missing. And things need to be looked into more.

By only really showing you can reign it in during a strike
shows you are able to reign in your members.....which begs the question why hasnt this been more heavily enforced before. Whether or not I or you see it as morally or legally grey irrelevant since it only comes down to how hoyo sees it.

But You have to understand that, you have a problematic rule, that people have been calling out for a while and no one calls perfect. And only now are we really seeing it enforced/reigned in.
