In years to come, the people who did this will be the ones who will go to jail.

4: Some very evil religious notions might be behind this mess. But the liberal, affirming, social justice oriented religious values and people are in a position to make a huge impact and protect many.

3: These are people already connected to one another. Already with mechanisms in place with which to better the world. And therefore able to mobilize more quickly than a block, neighborhood, city or other group of citizens.

2: Our religious institutions don't run on any government money. They don't run on making a profit. They run on people. Real, actual people who give a damn about the world. And for each conservative religious org in America there are many progressive affirming churches and organizations.

1: The things Trump is doing in America touch nearly every facet of our lives: schools, health care, corporations (DEI), the environment, science, immigrants, and on and on. However the one place they cannot touch? Churches and religious institutions in general. Separation of church and state.

Just spent an hour on the phone with ins cuz they are denying a med I've already been taking for 9 mo. They had to put me on hold to talk to TWO other departments, then put us all on hold to talk to my doctor. After all that it is not resolved. But supposedly everyone knows what to do next. 🤯🧐😵‍💫

Clearly, the real threat to our nation isn't a bunch of folks with clearance levels higher than my caffeine intake discussing classified intel on 'ChattyCathy420' with a journalist sprinkled in for flavor. No, the real danger is that PhD student advocating for human rights.

Apparently US foreign policy is now announced over social media. IMO we are beyond unhinged. 😭

It's good that there's a 25% tarriff on imported coffee now. This will incentivize people to purchase American coffee, grown in the New Jersey coffee forests

I wear this shirt in honor of inauguration day. I feel strongly that especially those of us who are white, cis, and/or straight but progressive should find ways to be and stay visible during the next four years. People need to know we are here and T hasn't taken over everything.

Is nobody else worried about what support CA will get for their wildfires if they are still blazing when Trump takes office? Let me remind you that last time there were memes of forest roombas because be said they needed to "clean the floors" better. www.c-span.org/clip/white-h...
User Clip: Trump: Only you can prevent forest fires. Nobody thought of that before me.
President touts his clean forest plan to make California vacuum its dirty woods floors.

When my wife & I whisper something about one of my kids from two rooms away and they yell, "What did you say about me?" But somehow they never hear me when I talk to their face.

Lesbian headed family here, with 2 trans kids and a gay kid. I'd love your tips on how to learn more about immigration to a trans/queer friendly country. I'd like to learn about the process before we hit a point where we actually want to leave the US. Podcasts, people to follow, books or other recs?
