Okay I’m watching football and there’s an ad for Universal Technical Institute. They keep referring to it by its initials.

Tell me there were no women in the room without telling me there were no women in the room. 🤦🏻‍♀️

A moment of calm. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and peace and love to those who don’t. ♥️

My children, ages 16 and 20, are currently in the living room shaking Christmas boxes.

If you’re looking for something to do, start working on overturning citizens united in your state. States control the power corporations have. Take their political power away with a ballot initiative. Here’s how: open.substack.com/pub/robertre...
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

In January, I’m going full time at a company that’s been my side-gig for the past two years. Right now, I’m closing out the job I’ve done for the past 20 while ramping up in the side-gig.

Friends, I am so, so tired. Grateful, but tired.

Wicked: For Good is beautiful. Grande and a brilliant and Erivo is astonishing. No Good Deed and For Good are better than I hoped. There are a couple of directorial choices I didn’t love, but those didn’t diminish the power of the film overall.

It’s the week of Thanksgiving in the US, and the handful of students who came to class today are working in small groups to share their current projects with one another and get feedback. We’ve jazz playing quietly in the background. This hum of curiosity and creativity is what I will miss most.
