Well, plagiarism, and, which to me is even more problematic, an absolute ton of shit-takes that never get fact checked or corrected. For every agency/org out there who is doing their due diligence to train LLMs, there are maybe 15 who DGAF or are actively dumping in misinformation (like with Grok).

Using an actor’s voice without payment or consent is not ethical. Claiming AI can “create” is not ethical (there’s a reason it’s referred to as “generative” and “agentic”). And anyone who thinks it’s a good idea to utilize it without a human in the loop is just incorrect, full stop.

I have a lot of educators in my family, and several of them would say the same about their education associations. And then would be the first to complain when teacher raises were overlooked in budgets. It’s like shooting yourselves in the foot to not organize.

Hmm. I hadn’t even thought about the impact to CEUs. No idea. The whole thing is wild to begin with. It’s so denigrating to put down people literally responsible for the majority of sick people’s healthcare. NURSES care for patients. Doctors see them for 10 minutes a day and write orders.

We do it, but it’s usually a vehicle to dunk on each other. “I’m thankful the kid put deodorant on this morning without me having to ask.” “I’m thankful mom quit asking me to clean my room every five minutes.” We aren’t religious so we don’t pray and that’s our intro into dinner.
