I wonder if the Steam Link fix also fixes the Image freeze when streaming Unreal Engine games specifically. And its only a Video Image freeze, the game itself still runs.

Since you have a Nvidia GPU you can really answer my question anyway. I use AMD for my GPU and I've heard mixed reviews about hardware acceleration.

Dont use Windows build in file transfer for this. Its really un optimizated for tasks like this.
Either get a dedicated program for big file transfers (google keyword: Hard Drive mirroring) or use the command line.

What GPU brand are you using?
And if its AMD, can you use Hardware acceleration In DaVinci using Mesa?
