There's a whole branch of science that's basically devoted to that systematic gaslighting, but without a strict racial bent.

If therapists were competent, they wouldn't need to charge hundreds an hour because they'd have enough work and have ironed out whatever issues caused them to be that greedy.

It’s not just science that’s being ignored. It’s basic decency towards others and reason itself in favor of comfort.
But science doesn’t cover all the bases everyone keeps ascribing to it. It is also imperfect and innately theoretical. The way people keep treating it here is akin to religion.
