That’s insane. I always try to wrangle myself out of jury duty mostly due to how little im paid and I’m also the only person who does my job at my business so we’d be pretty boned if i was away for more than a couple weeks.

That’s rough. Last time i did i got about $65 a day with travel comped (im roughly 30 miles from the courthouse) less than minimum wage here. So you’re only judged by your peers if you are also retired
