it's really frustrating feeling the effects of getting older. things that came so naturally to me when i was younger becoming such difficult tasks to manage now. reaction times being slower, brain fog and difficulty understanding things, remembering things, problem solving...

i'm realizing i think i prefer 2d metroid. finally actually taking the time to read everything i scan in prime 4 and it feels like they spoil a lot of the cool upgrades or things you'll unlock, and part of the appeal of metroidvanias is the discovery aspect
still a breathtaking game so far tho

gonna take a step back from streaming for the next few weeks, at least in the form of putting the deltarune playthrough on hold. as much as i wanted to play it now, i realized i wouldn't be able to properly appreciate it so we'll wait for a better time

maybe this is ignorance but there should be actual places that let you test keyboards, mice, controllers, etc before buying because even hours spent poring over reviews and videos just isn't substitute for actual hands on testing

i've been scared of these quests for two years but honestly they're not too bad. i underestimated the marie boss at the end but one team change was enough
team setup is such a pain though. i hope they only have this set of 4 quests and never do this again. i'd take ORT again over this
