Blacklight poster inspired sketches I did for Patreon back in 2020. Drawn in CSP, but I used Audacity and Notepad to screw with the colors/texture a little. Not sure why I never did this style again; these sketches are some of my all time favorites

This one's from a weird period of Daisuke art where I think he was still doing the "inks" (digitally enhanced pencil lines) on paper and then scanning and coloring it digitally. Note the faint "Final Frontier" in the water and the BADGUY text under the palms with Sol's stylized Mercury emblem

It kind of depends tbh but in the older art/games he's pretty flat more often than not. Like just muscle but no fat to make it juicy. He's flat in the sprites for most of the animations too if it's not a pose where he's squishing them together or leaning forward

Even his SUUUPER early concept art!! It's hard to date when Daisuke drew this, but it matches the style of some extremely early Sol concept art (Daisuke used to draw feet really distinctly), so I'd put it somewhere between late 1995, very early 1997
