Converting green spaces is one option, but so is converting long‑vacant commercial spaces. There are several options, and I’m sure the debate will be vigorous.

Is it the media’s role to stir controversy?

After the complete capitulation of the media (ABC, CBS, Disney, Paramount, the Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post) and the media’s complete failure to hold power accountable for fear of ‘losing access,’ let the media eat ‘cake.’

As a result of ‘announced’ tariffs:

How many American companies delayed or cancelled purchases?

How many American workers were furloughed or not hired at all because companies cancelled projects or expansions?

How many companies raised prices?

Shouldn’t we be ‘watching’ American businesses too?

I’m not arguing for purity tests. I’m pointing out that beyond regret, there’s little evidence of concrete accomplishments, mostly a pattern of monetizing dissent. Real change shows up in action, and results; not just in branding regret as allyship. He’s preaching to the choir not converting anyone.

Didn’t miss it. You mentioned candidate support, and we don’t know what the “committees” are doing.

Country First PAC has raised millions, but its direct financial contributions to anti-MAGA candidates are relatively modest compared to its broader spending.

He’s spoken out through CNN because he’s a paid contributor for CNN. Speaking to an audience who agrees with him politically isn’t helping to change one mind or undo the damage he did while he held actual power. At least Liz Cheney is raising money to fund candidates opposing MAGA candidates.

Hindsight is 20/20. He can’t undo the damage he was complicit in, and we’re still paying for it today. Profiting from dissent doesn’t show a change in character, it just shows a new angle being played. The question isn’t: What should he have done? The question is: What is he doing today?

profit or political gain, it’s whether they act differently when the stakes are high again. Otherwise, regret becomes less about conscience and more about currency.

Regret is one thing, but turning that regret into a brand of dissent that can be monetized or leveraged for attention is another. If someone truly believes their earlier vote was wrong, the measure of accountability isn’t how well they package that regret for

Before the Zelenskyy call, Trump had already faced serious allegations of fraud, misuse of charitable funds, human rights violations at the border, questionable campaign contacts with foreign actors, and obstruction of justice. These controversies set the stage for why the Ukraine scandal

Like Adam, your reply also dodges the core issue. His later stand on J6 doesn’t erase his silence when Trump tried to extort Ukraine. Principled means consistency, and he failed that test. Shifting focus to later events is whataboutism, not an answer to why he opposed impeachment then.
November 29, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Adam Kinzinger is so vocal about defending Ukraine today, yet when Trump tried to extort Zelensky by withholding weapons for a fake Biden probe, he stayed silent or even voted against impeachment? The inconsistency is staggering. What changed, and is it principled, or the monetization of dissent?
