I've always loved creating stuff, but I fell out of drawing when I was little because I was self conscious. I lived my identity as a writer and dreaming of "one day" drawing. I had a sudden death in the family and realized I wouldn't have forever to live out my artistic dreams. Didn't stop since.

It was inauthentic, but at least they felt like they had a social obligation to apologize before; in contrast to now, when they feel confident enough to give everyone the middle finger in response to any criticism

Maybe I'm cynical, but I think it's annoying when every CEO feels comfortable having a manchild crashout on Twitter when they do something people don't like

The truly depressing part of this ad is how misanthropic and miserable it is. "The holidays suck, wouldn't you rather just go to Mcdonalds?" To have a village, you must be a villager. But our society is controlled by losers who can't even handle the mild inconveniences of having people who love you
