The number of ways girls are locked out of any kind of professional development.

(I was in middle school in the 60s, pre Title IX.)

In my middle school, girls were not allowed to even enter the shop wing (a big building!). But the rule was starting to falter. Some of us begged to take graphic arts and learned to set type. And my art teacher said I could use the shop to use the band saw for a wood carving. But otherwise, no shop.

One of only three times I've had hypothermia was from a motorcycle ride between Davis and Winters.

And, importantly, they think their opponents are also sloppy morons who have no idea what they are doing. Our enemies think everyone in government is corrupt and incompetent, that this is normal.

The headline sounds like the deaths are some kind of mystery. But of the 8/10 they accounted for, five were killed by humans—hit, trapped, or shot.
