As there is no record of legal action against this game from Nintendo or The Pokémon Company. I have to assume that their lawyers are scared of football hooligan firms.

All I can say right now is goddamn it's a tragedy that this story hasn't been done any real justice in animated form. It's been slept on by the English speaking manga community.
