In general, this is still a demo and we're trying to find ways of balancing the game so that it can be the best experience it can be. What works for some players doesn't work for others. We're sorry this is ruining the game and we hope we can find a solution that works for you

We're currently exploring different options to add health back into the game. They are right; taking damage from falling into pits gave people less reason to explore the levels, though I also agree with your point.

Another old feature that got scrapped: keys. Trying to design levels around carrying keys just really never worked out.
