I'm writing this scene and I thought it was hilarious, so I wanted to share lmfao
“Do you trust me, Satoru?” Suguru asks. “I have an idea.” “Yeah, ‘course I trust you.” Satoru swallows. “Don’t be afraid to use the safe word if it’s too much.” Suguru leans forward to kiss him. It is a chaste kiss, a small but meaningful gesture of his boundless affection, and Satoru mellows underneath him, some of that special shine returning to his lidded gaze. Suguru is, unfortunately, a bit of a bastard. After Satoru completely relaxes into the kiss, he parts from his lips, grabs the backs of his knees, and then attempts to fold him in half. He scrutinizes his face for any sign of discomfort as he tests his flexibility, pushing his knees closer to his shoulders at a slow pace, but the expression he finds almost causes him to burst into laughter. Satoru looks puzzled, his nose crinkling in bemusement, his brows furrowing at the stretch of his leg muscles. It’s as if his brain is struggling to comprehend what is happening; the cogs are whirling and smoking in his head, but nothing is computing as it should. “What are you doing?” Satoru deadpans. “What do you think I’m doing? I’m putting you in a mating press.” Suguru adds cheerfully, “You’re doing great, by the way.”

As she places an unsteady foot onto the dock, Geto welcomes Ieiri with a hug, to which she responds in kind and pats his back with one hand, a Gladstone bag occupying the other hand. Like a gracious host, he escorts her to his home across the island and employs every measure of hospitality his humble abode can offer, pouring a mug of that inoffensive tea for her. She accepts the mug with a groggy word of appreciation as she sinks into the cozy chair prepared for her, sets her equipment onto the floor, and takes a small sip from her beverage. Geto allows her to recuperate in peace before he opens a conversation, but then she surprises him by groaning, “I hate sailing.” “You do look paler than I remember,” he comments lightly, but then his tone becomes more teasing as he confesses. “I almost gagged after watching you lose your stomach over the guard rails.” “You watched my misery from the height of your tall, glorified flashlight, huh?” Ieiri grumbles. “My sea sickness is unbearable, but don’t let me forget to examine your eyes today because I didn’t vomit this time—thank you very much.” [insert banter, all of the oh-so-witty banter]

He merely exists as a single consciousness, present within a paradoxical space where light and darkness coexist, where the material and abstract bend to defy comprehension. Six eyes observe him. In absence of mortal terror, fascination and awe remain. He can no longer trust his own sight in the waking world, knowing that those six eyes are blue. The shades of the seas and the skies shall persist as nothing but illusions, shielding his ill-prepared mind from the terrible depths of beauty and loneliness. Love resides within those blue eyes. Geto yearns to drown in the truth.

(also, this is a bit nerdy, but i have always been very fond of the Georgia font)
Prior to recovering his chilled body to the safety of the lighthouse, Geto had found him unconscious, deprived of clothing, and tangled in dark, oily seaweed and there were no belongings strewn about his person to define him. With his identity lost to the turbulent depths, with nothing to indicate whom this man is, Geto is free to speculate about his mysterious appearance as the storm rages over the lighthouse. The stranger was most likely a wayward sailor, whom his superstitious crew held in contempt and flung overboard their vessel, to whom the mercurial ocean granted mercy by consigning his soul to his rocky shore. His stomach churns with pity to imagine the passion borne from the hatred of an incensed mob, so fathomless and unreasonable in its intensity to discard a life without his dignity. Indeed, the crew gave more consideration to the bowels of ocean scavengers than to the stranger with white hair by sparing the creatures the indignation of digesting the fabrics and leathers of clothes and shoes. Geto swallows the lump in his throat. Perhaps none of this is true; this is only mere speculation, yet no other fabrication of his wild imagination makes as much sense.

working on a "morning after" kind of fic on the side...
“I see you there, staring at me with those big puppy eyes of yours,” Suguru teases, a playful rasp emerging from the embrace of sleep. Without turning, he beckons Satoru with a flippant wave of his straight razor. “Come here. Did you sleep well?” Satoru yawns and ambles closer to him. He hums in affirmation; yes, his over-clocked brain shut off and allowed him to sleep for nearly eight hours. Sleeping with Suguru by his side always ensures his personal safety during a long rest, but it’s his familiar warmth which allows Satoru to sleep hard and undisturbed, his dear scent which wards against both nightmares and dreams to lull his conscious state into blissful nothingness. “Yeah, but somebody kept kicking my leg in their sleep the entire night,” Satoru lies sleepily as he drapes himself over his shoulder. Suguru clicks his tongue against his teeth in mock annoyance. “It’s too early for projection, Satoru.”

Just feeling out the beginning of an lovecraft-esque idea i have that i don’t wanna lose, where geto is a lighthouse keeper and gojo would be some *vague hand gesture* old ocean god
The weather is fair today. Geto oversees the rocky shore with a mug of coffee, from which he takes a small sip. He winces as the liquid lightly scalds his tongue. He lives on an island, the only keeper who maintains the old lighthouse. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is an important one. At least a hundred lives have been saved because of him, which is reason enough for Geto to remain at his post. He works alone, but on the days when the sunlight shimmers in the water and the calm wind blows salty kisses, he even pities those who will never understand the sacred solitude of a calm morning by the sea.

Approaching the giddy fiend with his naked arm outstretched, Geto swallows the lump in his throat, bracing for pain when Gojo seizes his wrist. He would like to believe that his touch was brutish, lacking generosity and care toward his personhood, but then his soul would rot and fester from self-deception. No, Gojo is, as always, remarkably tender when he partakes in his blood-meal, aware of his extraordinary, inhuman strength. The creature employs a delicate hand as he examines the length of his forearm with a saccharine smile, minding the previous puncture wounds with ample consideration. His hand is large, soft, and without callouses, the bone slightly protruding from his wrist nothing but elegant in the dimming light. Like this, and just like this, Gojo is ethereal in its truest sense of the word, handling his limb as if his bones were the ceramic composing the fountain of eternal youth. Geto casts away his gaze. Geto wants him to be a writhing, violent thing, whose vicious teeth drip with curses for all of creation. He wants him to be that parasite, supping from the blood of innocent lambs and mirroring the grin of the most wicked, but Gojo is no more ravenous than any other individual who hungers and supplicates for bread and wine. The priest flinches and gnaws at the inside of his cheek to prevent a disgruntled noise slipping from his mouth unbidden when long fangs suddenly pierce his flesh. The pain of these feedings is always unavoidable for Geto, but, to the best of his ability, Gojo never allows the pain to linger for long, withdrawing his fangs after the quick bite. He would like to believe that this creature has no capacity for mercy, and the thought comes with ease as a hot mouth latches onto his wound, sucking and licking up his blood with a rapturous keen of delight. A bead of sweat rolls down his temple.

Without receiving a verbal response, Geto turns around to look at the distracted man, who is grinning at his phone and paying no real attention to him. He clicks his tongue against his teeth, though only fondness sits as king upon his heart’s throne. His lips spread into his own private smile, which then curls into something of a sly smirk. Navigating to the trash bin, Geto throws away the empty pints, and he calls over to Gojo again, concealing the smirk from his voice and tuning his voice to casual nonchalance. Speaking rapidly, he says, “Hey, bitch-says-what?” Gojo pauses.

I really like the one particular paragraph I cooked here,,, Trying to work on injecting more imagery into my writing as a challenge for myself!
Geto bursts into quiet laughter and reassures, “I’m fine, Satoru, and before you ask, I don’t have a problem with the brand you bought for us.” Burying his face into his shoulder, Gojo squeezes his middle. “Then why are you so tense?” Geto releases a soft hum as he replaces the lids onto the pints, and he answers carefully, “I… have a lot on my mind, I suppose. That’s all. Hey, since you’re here, why don’t you fetch another spoon and enjoy this ice cream with me?” Gojo lingers around his waist for a short while in silence, and then he releases Geto. Afterwards, Geto wonders if something he said sentenced the playful atmosphere to death. He opens his mouth to reattach the head to its corpse with a dull needle, sinew, and clumsy fingers, but a breath—not a word or even a sound—escapes his lips as Gojo returns to him. They were surely not apart for more than five seconds, but their brief separation felt too long, as a body cannot survive without a head. “Satoru?”

OKAY so I have accumulated 2.8k words over the past month for this chapter,,, now I am editing/rewriting what I have and kinda, sorta starting over, but GOSH, trust me, it's very necessary.

Here's the beginning of the chapter ✨
For the last five days, Geto has been suppressing a basic, instinctual urge of his rut. He wants to dominate Gojo. He has never felt so compelled to demand absolute submission from another person before, but this situation is different for a key reason: until now, he has never shared his rut with a partner. This unearthed aspect to his personality is not favorable toward his views of what an alpha should be, so Geto refrains from indulging in his impulses. It is his responsibility and priority to ensure that Gojo is safe throughout this entire cycle, and he refuses to allow *hormones* to override his principles.

A carton of cigarettes lies hidden inside the lowermost drawer of his desk. It's another one of his little secrets, but as he inhales the toxic smoke into his lungs, Geto reasons that nicotine could not possibly be as undoing as the young omega with hair as pure as snow. Lounging by the open windowsill, the courted chill saps the warmth from his skin as he indulges in this old vice, and the dimples of a mischievous, crisp smile occupy his every thought until the cold numbs his fingers, winter's grip a poor substitute for the hands he wishes to hold. Ten minutes elapse in a surreal blur, and then he is bowing to the company dancers and expressing his sincerest apologies for his uncouth behavior. He speaks from his heart, but in truth, he does not recall shutting the window or leaving his office. Beyond his conscious thought, the memory of Gojo Satoru must have carried him to the studio, where every forward step heralds a future in which Geto can see him again. During their brief time together, Gojo Satoru told him that he doesn’t know how to dance. One day, Geto will teach him how to step to the rhythm of their song, and this singular hope becomes his drive for the work day as Suda and he lead rehearsal. The omega, whose svelte body has long and elegant limbs and broad shoulders, would make a handsome dancer, but Geto does not allow his imagination to run wild without him in his arms. He should experience freedom from the world’s expectations, guided by the hands of his alpha holding onto his hips. He could be his alpha, he marvels. Now, that is a melody with a strong beat. Geto could be his alpha.
