For sure. I’m thinking in particular the Sri Lankan influencer farming AI racist memes targeting the UK who has raked in hundreds of ks and is now running a course to teach others how to get rich. Same goes for the likes of Ian Miles Cheong. They haven’t been in that position for a long time.

I would argue that profiteering off racist memes helps the rich and powerful who are the main benefactors of colonialism and western hegemony.

As we see so clearly in the US now, the people this hurts the most are immigrants and POC

I see them as scabs. Shameful but not the culprit

The newish Meriton block I live in recently just dropped a whole slab of tiles off the side of the building during a mild Sydney storm. Luckily no one was underneath but on top of all the faults in units these building are unsafe af
