Depending on the grid type, some people in NWT qualify for $20'000 for solar systems. Doesn't hurt to look into it!

NWT have a vredit system with their Net-Metering program. Meaning you overproduce energy in the summer, which they credit you on, so you dont have to worry and spend in the winter.

As with the rest of Canada NWT has access to the "Greener Homes" program which offers a loan up to $40'000 interest free towards energy improvements!
