Decades calling liberals college educated elitists and then they can't fathom how they make legible protest signs and buy items on Amazon?

Ha -9 ℃ is no big deal, and I'm from Colorado. The coldest I've experienced here is -27 ℉ (-32 ℃), although pretty rare.

As cool as some of the Chinese cars are, especially how cheap they are, I personally wouldn't get one. I think there's some reasonable data privacy and security concerns.

Oh that's a really good perspective. Definitely not one I've heard before.

Slate and TELO are betting big on the hopes more Americans want small trucks. I'm sure the majority of their initial business will come from enterprise customers, but the more people see them on the roads, the more likely they will gain popularity.

Some states allow Kei trucks, even with full highway use. In Colorado, where I live, they're allowed anywhere with a speed limit under 55 mph.
December 4, 2025 at 2:27 PM
It varies by state. Some allow Kei trucks on roads, others as farm or worksite vehicles.

US manufacturers lack incentive to build small cars. If there was demand, we’d see more Smart cars everywhere.

But I hope Slate and TELO can fill that void in the near future.

The manufacturers could have been building small fuel efficient cars for decades. They don't do it because there's not a big enough market for them and the profit margins are low.
