The wigs on him specifically are kind of atrocious Ngl 😂 but of all the versions I’ve seen he’s still my favorite Heathcliff and Charlotte Riley is my fave Cathy. I also think the moody vibe of the moors and the heights specifically is just nailed down so hard in this one.

The 2009 British miniseries starring Tom Hardy and his wife will always be the definitive adaptation for me. If you want to see a more accurate version I highly recommend this one if you can find it anywhere. All the actors are phenomenal and the mood is spot on.
