Ben Langey is leading research at the Great Marsh Institute to find out how road salt inputs from a major highway that cuts through the marsh affects the plants that live there. This short film shows some of Ben's work making him "The Guardian of the Wetland".

Eastern box turtles are usually found near ponds, fields, meadows, &woodlands throughout the eastern half of the US. Eastern box turtles are one of the most commonly seen in the wild. The reptile’s carapace is dome-shaped and covers most of its body, and has ridges and furrows that develop with age.
