I can't say enough how awesome you are, Staś. I love how you don't repeat the slogan of "non-verbal doesn't mean non-thinking", but dare to back it up with your actual IQ scores. 👍 You deserve all the love in the world. 💝

I totally forgot to mention this earlier, but it’s actually been up on the front page of my blog since Thursday.

I really hope it helps you understand who I am a bit better, and if you’ve got more questions you can always just ask me. I promise I don’t bite (hard). 😄
I have been quietly crafting something for weeks now, starting back when I was home ill with a cold. I truly hope to finish it by the end of the week, perhaps even sooner, so I am sharing this here to place a time limit on myself.

A very insightful poem about bullying, its effects and the complex reasons children sometimes engage in this behaviour.

I cannot emphasise enough how precious these works of understanding are, so please do read and follow this young man.

If you do anything at all in children’s social care, please read this post. It is so important. So brave.

This is my latest poem, and it's deeply personal. It describes my experiences with anxiety (GAD) and panic attacks, as best as I'm able to put them into words.

An important poem about war and the devastating ways in which it haunts children, and so beautifully written.

“They say children are resilient;
that’s just a fancy way of saying we survive things we shouldn’t have to.”

Will be popping on to @lbc.co.uk with @iaindale.bsky.social at 9pm to talk about ten year old Sara Sharif, and why home schooling is being used as a scapegoat for the child protection system’s endemic failings.
