So important to each other because they went through the same trauma(with different factors of course)
They may represent how differently two individuals cope with there trauma
With Lucifer being complacent and stunted
And Lilith becoming someone new in her growth

exactly! I don’t see him as evil (bitchy, mean, low in empathy but not actually evil) and the Goetia look like they were originally put in place to manage Hell’s government, but, like everything in Hell, became gradually more and more incapable of rule because they kept on backstabbing each other!

Taking on Alastor as executioner isn’t just a loophole to harm/kill sinners, but might also be because Lucifer needs genuine help because his main support for keeping sinners in line is gone and the work is so overwhelming now together with his burnout and depression!

Problem is his rule over Hell went to the dogs a while ago! Maybe it’s burnout? Maybe it’s a fight with Lilith? Maybe it’s rising tensions with heaven? (maybe it’s Maybelline)

So much juicy stuff to speculate on

My personal headcanon is this was what prompted him to create all the Hellborn - not just as a way to help out the other sins but to manage sinners (‘they’re touching them, not me’ and also as a cheeky throwback to Blitz’ comment about imps ‘that image’s outdated okay?’)
