I really liked the first clue. I would enjoy a something or other with modular welts. It’s as if each clue would have been swell on its own.
But he’s so ahead of my brain, in 15 years we will probably be seeing more random modular construction take the knitting world by storm.

His design style and the way I always learn a thing or three with his patterns, makes him S tier in my book. However, I saw so many struggles, & I know I would have struggled hard with this, it would not have been enjoyable for me to knit.

I’m almost relieved that I didn’t even entertain the idea of participating this year. I watched the clues & all the knit vlogs I follow that were participating. I’ve never been so glad that I didn’t give into the fomo. I’m normally a big fan of his design & construction, the way he pushes the craft

I’ve found that barber cord is too thick, I’ve tried using empty cables from interchangeables, that was small enough but I found it fiddly (especially fiddly since I do a lot of my sock knitting during my commute or lunch hour) I’ve gone back to just picking the stitches back up. 🤷‍♀️
