Feels like a nice throwback to the 2015–2017 Gengacanvas Tumblr era.
That said, they're still lovely no matter how they look

There’s still some compression applied when posting but it’s usually less harsh (at least that’s been my experience on Twitter and IG)
Besides, when you’re the one doing the downsampling the whole expectation vs reality hit feels less bad than watching your work get absolutely destroyed 💀

Thanks for the info, it really helps! I wasn’t sure what the actual upper limit was for the longest side on Bsky.
I usually draw big then downscale my art before posting on any platform. And as long as the image stays within that upper limit it "seems" to reduce the site’s compression, I think :0

this should be a lot less blurry now hopefully, I just added more 'sharpness' to it

Thanks! If I had more time when I drew this I would’ve gone with my usual style and rendering instead of this oversimplified version.
I couldn’t really do him justice or show how stunning and cool he is with this one so I’ll definitely draw more of him in the future. I really like his design ✨
