Alchemised does not shy away from the fact that war destroys. In their debut novel, SenLinYu dismantles the romanticized idea that war is a noble mission or necessary for collective good. In Alchemised, war is a force that destroys community, people, and sense of self.

Osten Ard is now cemented as my favorite fantasy world.

The Navigator’s Children had everything. Mysteries answered. Lore galore. Vistas and scenes full of wonder. My favorite characters in fiction. Epic battles and confrontations. Tearful, happy reunions that made me cry along with the characters.
