Was fun to splash bright colors all over these Plague Marines! #deathguard #warhammer40k #killteam #miniaturepainting
7 Plague Marines standing side by side from the Kill Team Starter Set. Colored brightly, from pink at the top half over a purple-blue in the mid section down to an intense yellowish green at the legs. Colors used: Grey base coat with Vallejo Dead White zenithal, then Familiar Pink, HIve Dweller Purple and Ghillie Dew, followed by off white drybrushing for highlights. Power Node Glow got thinned and applied over the pink bits, then Fluorescent Blue over the purple and Fluorescent yellow over the green to make all the colors pop. Royal Blue with Marine Mist highlights here and there as splash of color, with Worn Stone thinned to a glaze over horns. Pastel pink, blue and yellowish white over the base, topped with Runic Grey speed paint an finally a Turquoise Siren rim (might change the rim color)
