I started in July and I have no intention of looking back. It’s not easy but it’s the right fit for me. I’m lucky to have friends scattered all over. I establish a base camp I can fall back to and resupply then tour for long periods.

I’m excited to have them. I tour full time and live on the bike. The only thing that’s weak on my Tour De Fer is the Shimano brakes. Genesis quietly upgraded the line recently because of the feedback they’ve been getting. With ~ 35 lbs on the back it seemed smart

It was some of the most boring cycling I’ve done in Europe and blessedly so. I’m in England now and it’s a lot more spicy. I’m tracing the coastline of the Iberian peninsula starting in January and am eager to discover what it will be like.

I liked how it was in the Netherlands. There was space for cars, bikes and pedestrians. It was safe and sane. The system was designed for everyone
