So, this happened. I wish I could say I was doing something exciting like riding a Honda in the MotoGP, but the reality is that I tripped while scurrying to catch a bus. Oh, the ignominy of it all! 😊😒😋

Hi all, I'm not sure how much longer I will keep this account. There's a Canadian site coming called Gander (fingers crossed) and when that rolls out, I'm moving there; away from meta for certain. There's only so much time in a day :)

Hiking is hard and dangerous, but the views around here can be pretty great!

It's been a little over a year since I lost my partner. I miss that big idiot. Maybe more now than I did last year, because last year the grief was all consuming, & I believed that if I could just wake up, he'd be there. I realized this week that I still hope he'll return, that it's a mistake.

Sandra Annette Bland was a 28-year-old African-American woman who died by suicide in a jail cell in Waller County, Tx, on July 13, 2015, after being arrested during a traffic stop. State Trooper Brian Encinia was placed on admin leave for failing to follow correct procedures. SAY HER NAME.

Yay!! Road trips are awesome! If you've never been through the Cypress Hills, or Drumheller, or Heads Smashed in Buffalo Jump, I can highly recommend. Hwy 3 across the bottom of BC is my favourite highway in BC. Possibly in Canada ;) Pic on left of Osoyoos from viewpoint East of town.
