The thing that got me down today was I have been working on a project for a bit and I just can't seem to get the game to be fun and I'm thinking I have to pivot to something else now just over a month in to dev, but I also need it to be shipped by Feb-Mar cause that's when my current runway ends.

Oof yeah I'm definitely sorry to hear that too, I totally get how hard that can be. Everything I've found is contract/gig work that's only paying like $100-300 a MONTH for effectively like $4/h in estimated work which is obviously not even close to a livable wage. It's wild how tough it's gotten...

I've had these jobs before, and usually 6-12 months later I'm axed for "performance" reasons since I'm missing meetings or not showing up on time, or just under-performing due to literally being at work when my body is like "No it's sleep hours".

Yeah the core issue is I have a sleep disorder which leads to my awake hours not being consistent. So I can't have a schedule, like... at all. So retail? out of the question, corporate tech job, I will not be making those 9am meetings. Unless the job says "make your own hours" It's basically nope.

This dropdown in particular sucks, why can't I see a list of just untested or incompatible games?

This started because I have a Steam Deck and the Steam Machine is higher spec than my current PC so I might switch, but I NEED to know which games in my library or wishlist I won't be able to play...

A big issue too is it's a predictable date, nothing stopping someone from manipulating the price of something that isn't selling 40 days in advance knowing that when they discount it 70% off some gullible person will buy it thinking theyre getting a steal.

Lol I feel like most are pretty bad, I question is there even such a thing lol. I get the Nub thing for sure I'm sad it's not available for more laptops and its a ThinkPad only thing.

I haven't tried the Kailh Blue low profile ones. I'm a strong blue fan in general, but right now I have reds because the cool-but-affordable keyboards never come in blue. Normally I have headphones on so noise isn't an issue, and when I tried tactile keys they didn't feel right compared to clicky.

*like... I can't type this morning... Too sleepy... Anyway yeah I'm not like mad or upset people like these things, but I'm more upset that I don't see what others see. Since people love it THAT much there's clearly something either I'm missing, or they're ignoring, that lets them enjoy it.
