sometimes i'll do experimental process things even if they don't show up the final. on possessor(s) when i did layouts i played around with halftones and dithering/noises as an Otomo nod, and bc of our time period. props to @marsashton.bsky.social for the BIG DOOR blockout

Drifter and Altie ride the access elevator down to the immortal cell's chamber. The platform descends into a massive artificial chasm which spans the area of the entire isle of light. Huge pillars of unknown purpose line the bottom of it, resembling a lifeless underground city. As the two drifters close in on their ultimate task, an unbearable sense of anticipation and dread fills the air.

Hyper light drifter doodles, plus Guardian design. I've been thinking about them lately. The potential found family trio, along with not seeing much fanart about the guardian's family. I've also been thinking about a design for Drifter's face. Still kinda unsure, but we'll see.

I know the Guardian was never confirmed to be a Blu, but idk what else they could be, along with their family. I don't remember if humans ever existed in the game's lore, so I just made them all blues. Maybe I'll change my mind later, idk.
