Dog lover, loves winter and snow, hiker, snowmobile, anything outdoors, bike rider, hiker and I have recently discovered, an advocate for
political change, we need to give some power back to the voters. 🇨🇦 🇺🇦 I support Ukraine.
These trains only require 2 workers. That includes when they are hauling hazardous materials. That's crazy.

This is not moving forward, this is looking backward. Climate change is speeding up and it looks like Canada will give it a helping hand. This is short sighted and extremely disappointing. Money over everything, and even that won't work out. What the hell are we doing?

Hopefully now, we'll pivot to the better jet being sold by trustworthy government.

Just the fact they are built to deal with cold weather and icy runways should be a reason to buy them.

So many discount science now, and call these weather changes normal. Maybe it's just fear they don't want to believe the frightening truth. Trouble is, that doesn't help to do what we must do, to slow climate heating down.

100% right, yet here we are in Canada talking about new pipelines.

Not going to happen.

And way down they go, hopefully Russia will never recover.

I think he's given Smith a shiny object to play with. Keep her quiet for awhile. At least that's my hope.

Nothing ends well. Haven't you learned that yet? Everything in the world of homo sapiens ends messily and painfully including the homo sapiens species itself. We're just another galactic species so enamoured of our shiny whirry things that we're willing to auto-annihilate rather than give them up.

It's all about more money for a select few who already have more money than they could spend in 10 lifetimes. Money doesn't trickle down in our current societies, it flows straight up and gets tucked away by the wealthy hoarders. We must learn to deal with wealth inequality the better.

I agree, it's a pipe dream (pardon the pun). There's no proponents and no appetite for a new pipeline in BC. By the time they get around to starting this project there will be no market.

Polar ice is melting, our polar bears access to food is declining, cubs are at risk of starvation. Just another victim of our inability to take global warming seriously.

Russia should be ostracized, what is the IOC thinking?
November 28, 2025 at 5:29 PM
If a new pipeline was going to be profitable proponents would be stepping up with some cash, they aren't. That tells us everything we need to know.

It's time for a wealth tax, the gap between the ultra rich and the rest of us continues to grow. We need a government that supports the growth of the middleclass. Strong economies come from a strong middleclass, history shows this to be true.

I understand why Guilbeault did this, but staying and fighting for what's right would have been good.
