I like my long coat for biking. Make sure that it has a "slit" in the back, & that the front zipper will allow you to open the zipper from either the top OR the bottom. This allows free leg movement.
My bike is for transportation. When I get where I'm going, the long coat looks presentable. YMMV.

Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

I went through it all. Horrific anxiety ramped up in early 50s. It crippled me. I’ve been so even-keeled all my life, I didn’t know how to handle it. Went to my family doctor - a woman - “don’t worry about it, get some CBT”.
This book helped. I should give one to all lady friends of a certain age.
