I think so! I love Max Feldman’s music and it was exciting to think about it as related to Sappho as well as the performances of NCB.

I have a little piece on in this collection titled: "Amplifying Sappho: Lesbian Musicians and the Echoes of Antiquity." It looks at Natalie Clifford Barney (1876-1972) and Max Feldman's (1945-2007) amplifications of Sappho in music while thinking about identity, space, and time.
