I'm so sorry. That is so frustrating. I saw on The Sims Discord that they are looking at changing where they store scratch files which might help with cloud backups. Hope this helps with all the OneDrive issues.

I had OneDrive disabled for the longest time. I think a sneaky Windows update re-enabled it.

I hear you. I used to have an uncle who would do that for me, but sadly he passed away. One of their reccomendations I know is legit, so I will get that one taken care of. Some are cosmetic that I would like to get fixed, but they aren't high priority.

I want to give another try. When I first played it, I had a hard time navigating the menus and figuring out how to do things like changing what books I offered for sale. I might have been too tired at the time I was playing.

That is a good point. It is obvious they were struggling, but the news does seem sudden. Regarding the creator packs, there are two set to release on Dec. 3rd. Those were probably ready to go anyway. I don't know if there are new ones in production but I don't see why Paradox wouldn't continue them.

I'm also seeing some content creators who were planning to focus on Paralives having to change plans in light of thre delay. I feel for all of them. Biggest lesson these past few years is that it's a good idea to diversify your content.

Yeah, CS2 was a disaster. I made the mistake of pre-ordering, so I feel particularly burned. I literally waited two years for content that I purchased to be delivered. Seeing the TS4 content creators having to scramble after the buyout news reminded me of the CS content creators.

I put a good deal of hours into My Time at Sandrock. It's a good game, but it's heavy on combat, and I'm not into that.

I also played InZoi which has definitely improved from its initial release in March. With DDLV, I burned myself out on the Star Paths. I need to go back and focus on the story quests. Other games that I tried but didn't put very many hours in yet: Roots of Pacha, Fields of Mistrira, Tiny Bookshop.

I really like solar punk which is why I feel like I'm one of the few people who really liked Eco Lifestyle. Regarding games, I played Civ VII, Date Everything, of course all the new Sims packs (though I haven't put enough time into them to fairly judge them)...
