Out and about in Kings X with the New Originals Scooter Club

Family have been away so it’s been a weekend of record cleaning, loud music, fatty food and fine wine. Now the big clean up begins.

When it comes to ‘pretty’ pubs, the Crown in Islington is pretty much up there

Father’s Day gifts galore. The green stuff is posh pesto. The drawings, by the little’un, are of a Vespa and a bottle of wine, my two favourite things apparently!

If you’re of a certain age with specific tastes in music and fashion - and I suspect you are, I cannot recommend the Pete McKee exhibition ’The boy with a leg called Brian’ enough. It’s at the Weston Park Museum in Sheffield until November so no excuses.

Forgot I had this fabulous record. Caught somewhere between Saturday night and Sunday morning - this is as funky as hell/heaven. Recommended - go buy!
