We’re proud to share that SSFI’s Director, Associate Prof Nengye Liu, was nominated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore to serve as an expert speaker at the 13th Expanded ASEAN Maritime Forum. He also participated in the 15th ASEAN Maritime Forum as a member of the Singapore Delegation.

We were delighted to host Dr Ben Czapnik (Monash University) last Thursday, for a presentation on the impacts of using trade restrictions to promote environmental protection, from the experience of the EUDR and WTO law. We thank Dr Czapnik for sharing his insights on an increasingly prominent issue.

Last Tuesday, SSFI had the privilege of hosting Ambassador Rena Lee for a fireside chat. Ambassador Lee shared insights on the #BBNJ negotiations, the future of the law of the sea and practical advice on negotiation skills.
