Tall woman in a family of taller people. Unsure yet if I belong here, we shall see!
I thought this was going to be an Elf story. 🤣

So very satisfying.

About six people on the entire plane I guess. But still not super comfy sitting on the plane that long. At least he had a whole row to himself.

My Dad used to have one (white though, no colour changing paint).

Maybe it will make him a happier rapper? Happy rappers would not be THAT bad, would they?

The stained glass survived the Halifax Explosion?

Do you just hate the needle part, or it's too painful, etc.? I've had it a couple times with moderate success but I don't mind needles (unless they're in my face).

About a 10 minute bike ride. He uses the bikes fairly regularly in non-snowy conditions there, it's a handy way to get around. He's close to downtown.

I've never heard of that either but that sucks.

2.5 years for me.

🤭 You're one of the first people I've 'met' who even knows what that is.

I just realized you have the same one I do. Funny thing, I ordered it when the keyboard on my laptop failed. I'm in a program where I do reviews for things and don't have to pay for them, when I searched for a keyboard there this one came up. Completely accidental to come up with a mechanical one.

YESSSS! This is the one I got, I used the numeric keypad on my other one more than I realized so I do miss that.

I got a mechanical keyboard a few months back, have been testing it out recently. Hadn't used one before, it feels kind of neat (but my typing accuracy is diminished while I get accustomed to it).

Is this a regular issue for you?

30 years ago I worked in a NS grocery store. One time there was a strike somewhere, had to get some products from Quebec instead of our regular suppliers. SO many people bringing back their margarine because it was white. Apparently that was a rule for margarine in Quebec (don't know if it is now)

I don't think we'll need that yet, it's still snowing here!
December 8, 2025 at 3:44 PM
That's a good point. I've picked up a kid for basketball practice on Washmill Lake Drive, when there's snow piled next to the sidewalks from the plows up there. Meanwhile, four minutes away at my house there's zero snow. It's still snowing here though, glad I don't need to go anywhere.

*I don't think it's COVID this time, just a cold. But haven't even had a cold since then.
