And yet I can't bring myself to watch it again after the first viewing and yet I can sit through Watership Down just fine. Maybe it's b/c it felt more grounded and real compared to it and therefore can definitely feel depressing as a result. Especially as someone who loves dogs.

Plague Dogs is really weird case b/c it's by the same director as Watership Down (1978) and adapted from a book by the same author as WD and it's also good!

And oh yeah, another cool fact: Both adaptations starred the late great John Hurt as well!

The Exorcist was phenomenal and I can see the hype but there was a specific part or two that I'd rather not sit through again so nope on rewatching. I do find myself quoting it on very rare occasions though as jokes.
