Yes, it's huge reach. Educational work, talent development, support for the arts (to name a tiny amount of what it does) won't be replicated by private corps.

An action that will be quietly dropped once somebody does some basic legal work I expect

was he called up? Doubt they will want him going unless it's with some very specific limits on him

and given all our struggles to score some composure there

I'd love to see the planning doc that shows how taking over the National Trust is vital to overthrowing the government - otherwise this is now turning into the sort of vindictive spat that originated from them closing the cafe just before your arrived really wanting a scone

The point being we haven't had any real time to work on stuff with him and have concentrated on his strengths - Joelinton is playing a different role sine Nick arrived which showed with his shots and headers in the box - it's evolving but it's going to take time

The fact they are trailing 5Lives Argument hour in the morning is baffling too
November 8, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Do you think perhaps Arsenal spent a lot of time and effort in pre season working on that? While Big Nick was playing for a different club

in 20 years nobody will be writing SQL

Ct scanner picks out my metal hip as being there, only about 1 in 4 normal metal detectors find it

And from the top nobody way, nobody is people got very upset that there was a mention that all wasn't amazing and he would face a challenge from both sides as he tries to deliver what was promised.
November 5, 2025 at 3:01 PM
You fail to have understood what anyone has said and just taken it as a criticism of the nice guy - simplifying life to such an extent you can't accept any commentary or discussion
November 5, 2025 at 1:22 PM
Comprehension? You seem to think people are attacking him rather than simply pointing out that getting elected is the easy part some days - it's delivering the promises you made that is the hard part. He is going to be attacked from both sides for what he does and what he fails to do
November 5, 2025 at 1:06 PM
So he didn't raise expectations and promise a load of stuff in his election and now has to actually get on with delivering them and people understanding some stuff could take years when they expect instant changes
November 5, 2025 at 12:58 PM
Populism lives all over the world, but hey he's a great guy, it will all go amazingly well and at no point anyone from the left will start hurling shit at all.
November 5, 2025 at 12:39 PM
What's that got to do with anything - just some caution from people who can see what is likely to happen next and the limited powers he has to implement the changes he wants to deliver the improvements he needs.
November 5, 2025 at 12:14 PM
I'm sure that all goes down well if people still feel poor, unable to afford stuff or priced out of the city. We will see how patient people are but on the far left there is the same lack of patience and simplistic idea to problem solving as the far right.
November 5, 2025 at 11:55 AM
Can you lend me the keys to your time machine? We will find out but don't be shocked when people kick off from both sides. Expectations have been raised and he really needs to deliver
November 5, 2025 at 11:53 AM
Look I get you want him to succeed and you're happy - just don't be shocked when the complaints start coming from both sides and "being a nice guy" doesn't cut it
November 5, 2025 at 11:14 AM
I'm so glad you know how everyone else will react and their patience - time will tell but yeah be happy today but don't be shocked when people start wondering why it's not all fixed yet
November 5, 2025 at 10:03 AM
Cool, but until you get there you need to be elected by people who live in your country. If nobody has learned that lesson yet it's King Don Jnr IIIV
November 5, 2025 at 9:46 AM
He promised free busses, more affordability etc. that is what people want and need, being kind is a nice to have when you can't afford to live somewhere
November 5, 2025 at 9:44 AM
Think you just reinforced the point when you say address the practicalities of delivering what he has promised. He said he would fix it - now we have a plan to make a plan to work out how to fix it? I wish him luck but it's attacks from both sides
